March 2013: Sailor Andromeda

To try to get back into the groove, I'm checking out my old sketchbooks. Upon doing so, I discovered some fan art I did, involving Sailor Moon-- characters from the show, and my own fan characters inspired by the show. I also discovered my sister's character-- a sailor senshi named Miyako-Jurai, aka Sailor Andromeda. The only references I could find of her character were that which she drew herself over a decade ago:

Thus, working from these references and my cloudy memories, I give you Sailor Andromeda:

Ink.

Digitally colored.

 Details.

Sailor Moon is owned by the beautiful and amazingly talented Naoko Takeuchi, all rights reserved, and all that.

October 27, 2012: Mars

Been feeling pretty unmotivated lately. Tried a quick pencil sketch of Sailor Mars... which lasted almost two hours. (So much for "quick".)
